Enterprise AI, from pilot to production
Use-case selection, data readiness, and evaluation — then the governance and human oversight that let a model into a real workflow.
AI, Product & Data Executive
For 25 years I've built product, data, and engineering organizations at Apple, UBS, bp, and Angel One. The pattern is the same everywhere: the model is rarely the hard part. Getting it into a workflow people trust is.

Featured interview
A 44-minute conversation on what it actually takes to run GenAI and customer intelligence inside a consumer financial platform serving millions of users a day.
What I lead
The through-line isn't an industry or a technology stack. It's the unglamorous scaffolding — evidence standards, decision rights, human oversight — that decides whether an AI program ships or stalls.
Use-case selection, data readiness, and evaluation — then the governance and human oversight that let a model into a real workflow.
Fragmented data into trusted metrics, recommendation systems, and decision tools people actually use.
Rebuild the foundation AI depends on, without breaking reliability, security, or regulatory obligations.
Multidisciplinary teams, leadership benches, and the cross-functional rhythm that sustains delivery after launch.
Selected impact
Data and AI initiatives drove approximately US$14M in incremental campaign revenue and roughly US$95M annualized.
I launched eight AI and machine-learning MVPs and won executive approval for a centralized analytics capability and a five-year roadmap.
I recruited and organized more than 120 product and engineering contributors in under eight months.
I cut legacy infrastructure cost 40% through cloud migration, containerization, and automated security controls.
Current leadership
Three roles, one thread: connecting AI and product strategy to something that ships.
I lead product and technology for a multi-catheter transseptal mitral-valve-repair platform with a proprietary robotic interface — product, engineering, and systems integration through to execution.
I teach and research at the intersection of AI and organizational design: how data analytics reshapes decision-making, and how leadership has to change with it.
I lead applied AI and healthcare platform work, including the Anava therapy-management platform, alongside research collaboration and institution building.
Current initiatives
Through PCS and UCLan Cyprus, I work with industry, academic, and public-sector leaders on defined programs and stronger technical talent pipelines.
An MOU focused on research, innovation, and workforce development in data and AI.
I co-hosted discussions on India's digital-infrastructure journey and how public-sector technology practice transfers across markets.
I convened a discussion on quantum research and capacity building with Indian researchers and visiting Cyprus innovation leaders.
Career · latest first
I owned enterprise data and AI strategy for a scaled digital financial-services business — platforms, machine learning, and the customer intelligence behind data-led product experiences.
Data and AI initiatives drove approximately US$14M in incremental campaign revenue and roughly US$95M annualized. I also represented Angel One publicly on fintech modernization, enterprise AI, and the data economy.
I established bp's Global Data Analytics Group, building capability across data operations, governance, and applied analytics — and connecting AI and machine-learning experimentation to an operating model that could absorb it.
I launched eight AI and machine-learning MVPs and secured executive approval for a centralized analytics capability and five-year roadmap.
I led automation, engineering quality, and infrastructure security programs inside a highly regulated international bank, across a mandate of roughly 7,000 people.
I cut legacy infrastructure cost 40% through cloud migration, containerization, infrastructure as code, and automated security controls.
I led product and engineering for Teradata's public-cloud business in India, spanning cloud services, core database engineering, and marketplace delivery on AWS and Microsoft Azure.
I led product and program work for Pearson's global learning platform, including diagnostic learning journeys and the platform roadmap behind them.
I built AppDirect's India product and engineering organization from company establishment to operational scale.
I recruited and organized more than 120 contributors in under eight months. Product and professional-services revenue made the India center profitable while I aligned it with global delivery and P&L responsibility.
I ran the iTunes data platform and the core business-intelligence products behind Gift Cards and iTunes Sales, leading global product and engineering teams including four product managers.
Ventures & earlier career
I co-founded a spatial-analytics venture using computer vision and IoT to give facility owners real occupancy and utilization data.
I held technical-lead and program-management roles supporting Apple's Global Business Intelligence Data Organization, and served as Global Account Manager at Infosys.
AI is worth something when it changes a decision, a workflow, or a customer's experience. Everything before that is a demo.
So I make four things explicit up front: the business decision at stake, the technical trade-offs, the standard of evidence, and who owns the outcome. Then I connect product direction, data, and governance to the adoption that follows.
The last job is to build a team with enough authority and depth to keep it running after I stop paying attention to it.
The hardest part is rarely the model or platform. It is aligning decisions, ownership, evidence, and adoption.
